N.C. House bill 681 was filed some time last week and is in committee.
Some have advocated to abolish this bill like divorce attorney Lee Rosen who says ‘these torts are archaic methods for eliminating infidelity and do not protect marital relationships’.

Based on the language in a Michigan law, the state’s second-highest court recently announced that those who commit adultery in Michigan might be prosecuted for first degree criminal sexual conduct. This type of felony could result in life in prison.

If you want to spy on your spouse, there are limits, legally. For instance, you are not allowed to record a conversation or hide a camera without getting their permission. Wiretapping laws are violated all the time, so why aren’t people getting caught? Or are they?
