Sen. David Hoyle apparently would like couples getting married by the magistrates to obtain pre-marital counseling. This week, Hoyle has introduced a bill to help fund two pilot programs in Gaston and Guilford counties in North Carolina. These programs would provide premarital education to people who want to get married by the magistrates. Do you think courthouse marriages are more likely to end in divorce?

Both premarital counseling and marriage counseling are great place to start to open the lines of communication. And as we know, that the lack of communication is the number one reason, relationships begin to fail…

    Thanks again,

    Howard
