In a recent study in New York, researchers have discovered a connection between domestic violence and a person’s teenage years. The study concludes that most domestic violence comes from people who grew up in a violent environment—often from a difficult family background that surrounded them in a “violent culture.”
However, there is hope. As behavior is ever-changing, a break from this “circle of violence” is always possible. With the right support and structure, victims can break this violent streak and look forward to a safer future.
