I just read an interesting piece in The Economist about how while most couples heading to Vegas think of the Elvis Chapel, on July 7, 2007 many will be heading to the world’s wedding capital in hopes of having a lucky marriage (7-7-7). In fact it’s supposed to be one of the busiest marriage seasons in the history.
Though, it’s still unclear why seven is such a lucky number aside for the fact that in a slot machine, three 7 equals a payout of $1 million.
I wonder if this will have the same effect on people on the verge of divorce. Is there such a thing as a lucky divorce?
