If a presumed father paying child support discovers he is not the biological father of his children, does he still have to make the payments? Many courts are requiring them to pay saying it’s in the best interest of the child.
The New York Times ran an article over the weekend revealing some interesting statistics on the increasing popularity of paternity tests. A DNA testing company in Houston said about 30% of paternity tests show that the presumed father is not actually the biological father.
